Jewelry is a wonderful medium for me to express beauty, my affinity for the romantic, and my sense of color. As a child I tried to arrange my crayons in a perfect sequence of colors, noticing how the juxtaposition of colors played off on another. I recall how a piece of jewelry made me feel proud, almost as if it had magical powers.

Now, after making necklaces, earrings, hatpins and bracelets, for nearly 10 years, it is still the play of how one color accentuates another that excites me. The individual beads are so beautiful. I strive to create stories of rhythm and texture, which still allow the individual elements to shine.

My pieces are meant to compliment the person wearing them. The piece is complete when a woman puts it on and feels prettier.
